Note de l’auteur : les cigales, comme les grenouilles et les papillons se métamorphosent. Elles peuvent rester sous terre jusqu’à 30 ans. Quand c’est le moment, elles sortent de terre, laissent leur chrysalide, sèchent dans l’air.


In my imaginary museum everything is bright and shiny. Things change and can be changed.

Footnote: Cicadas, like frogs and butterflies, undergo a metamorphosis. They can lie dormant for up to 30 years in the earth. When the time is right they emerge, shed their exoskeleton and dry in the air.
